OVERVIEW EZEKIEL CHAPTER 34

“THE SINFUL SHEPHERDS OF ISRAEL"

As we continue our walk through Ezekiel, we learned how God told Ezekiel to tell Israel to beware of self-absorbed shepherds.  They fed themselves instead of the flock.  They had not taken care of the weak or tended to the sick. This was the beginning of the restoration of Israel.  Jesus used the parable of sheep (the congregation) & shepherds (pastors) to explain how the priests and kings were more concerned for themselves and not the salvation of their people.
