BE FAITHFUL

Proverbs 28:20 says “A faithful man will abound with blessings, but he who hastens to be rich will not go unpunished.”   A faithful man will abound with blessings means he will have abundant blessings.

Now look at the opposite of that, if you would, in Proverbs 13:15, which says, “Good understanding gains favor, but the way of the unfaithful is hard.”

The way of the unfaithful is hard. A faithful man abounds with blessings, but the way of the unfaithful is hard. God is looking for faithful people. Blessings come to faithful people… people who are faithful in their relationships, people who are faithful to keep their word, people who are faithful at their work, and people who are faithful in serving in the house of God. The Lord rewards faithfulness. Now the world rewards talent, but God rewards faithfulness. You may have talent; but if it is coupled with an unfaithful heart, it becomes a curse. Fidelity brings the blessing of God, and it brings the blessing of God in abundance.
